Feburary 14th 2004, MassOpenHouse.com launched. One year later, we revisit the entire process with DEESIGNS.

An initial meeting was set-up in January with the domain owner and needs were discussed. She wanted an easy-to-use, e-commerce open house listing site.

The owner had previous bad experience with other web designers and hosts, and desperately needed the site to launch for spring. Establishing a green color scheme, logo creation, and a feature-packed site for real estate agents was in need. We also agreed that the "Medium" package was the best fit.

Site development was underway, and between constant communication with the owner and uploading screen shots of progress, we finally had a testing site.

The owner was now able to log in, create real estate agent accounts, register, test the payment gateway with paypal, and create listings.

After testing was through and the bugs were taken care of on the programming side, the site was launched. One month ahead of schedule.

Now after one year, the site has been live, and MassOpenHouse.com is still the most inexpensive way of advertising Open Houses in Massachusetts. In one year they have advertised 565 individual properties and have had over 84,000 unique hits. Their goal for 2005 is to triple their viewers and advertisers.
